You can transform a kettle into a full-fledged decorative element in the kitchen. A bouquet of fresh flowers will decorate any room, including the kitchen. Choose a subdued compact vase so that it does not take up too much space on the countertop. There can also be creative options: for example, vintage crates with straw or paper at the bottom, in which bottles are placed. Be sure to learn the storage rules for the specific type of wine: some cannot be kept under the sun’s rays for a long time.

Textiles create a cozy, homely atmosphere in the kitchen, and if space allows, they can conveniently be kept on the countertop. Towels and fabric napkins can be folded in a special organizer or hung on a mini-shelf. If the textile is decorative, keep a separate set for household purposes or use paper towels.

Another way to refresh and decorate the cooking area is to place a small planter with an indoor plant on the working surface. The pot can be in the tone of the main palette to make the space look unified, or contrasting. For placement in the kitchen, choose plants that can withstand high temperatures and humidity and will feel comfortable next to the sink or stove.

There are always a couple of fruits in any kitchen, and it’s not necessary to hide them in the refrigerator or a cabinet drawer. Choose a beautiful plate, deep bowl, or basket and fill it with bright lemons, juicy apples, appetizing pears. Such edible decor will become an additional accent in the cooking area. The main thing is not to place the container under direct sunlight, so the fruits do not spoil.
