Fall always paints nature with vibrant colors, gifting us a bounty of seasonal flowers, fruits, berries, and vegetables. From all this beauty, you can learn to craft your own homemade masterpieces. It’s finally time to forget about expensive designer accessories and create fall compositions from natural materials yourself, and what’s more, inexpensively!

Let’s dive in.

Option 1: Fall Compositions from Flowers

Fall colors have their own unique charm. If you want to decorate your home with a floral arrangement, here are a couple of ideas from Lanaspace!

Note: All the steps mentioned below can be achieved using floral foam. When dry, you can shape the foam however you want, and it will keep your composition fresh for a long time.

  • Bouquet in a Tree Trunk

It’ll have a very fall-like look. If you take a pine stump, for instance, your home will be filled with the pleasant scent of pine.

Remember that natural textures, like tree bark and untreated surfaces, are currently in trend. They’ll lend authenticity to your composition.

  • Floral Sculptures

Chrysanthemums are among the most popular fall flowers. The upside is that they stay fresh for a long time and look beautiful. Floral foam will come in handy here. You can cut it into shapes, like this hedgehog for instance.

Or a pumpkin:

  • Bouquets in Pumpkins

A fall composition in a pumpkin is a very original option. An emptied pumpkin maintains freshness for quite a long time.

Option 2: Fall Compositions from Vegetables

Seasonal vegetables are also a good choice for decor. You can mix them with flowers like this:

Or use them separately, like this:

Either way, it will look magnificent.

Option 3: Fall Compositions from Flowers and Leaves

As you create beauty, remember that you not only have nature’s gifts but also skilled hands!

How about a fall composition of leaves shaped like roses?

A decorative fall wreath can also beautify your living space. You can add figurines and textiles.

You can craft this vase using fresh leaves, regular PVA glue, and furniture lacquer.

The base for this masterpiece is just an ordinary glass jar. Flip the jar upside down, wrap it in plastic wrap, apply PVA to the leaves, and lay them on top of each other randomly. Once your work dries, separate it from the jar and cover it with lacquer. That’s all there is to it!

Option 4: Fall Compositions from Fruits

This is a great option for those who want to not only beautify their home but also get a vitamin boost.

Lovely bouquets, compositions, and installations made of fruits look amazing, smell delicious, and the best part is, you can eat them.
